The Talawanda Bands, Oxford, Ohio have been playing David Shaffer’s concert band literature for years. The students look forward to performing his music every year.  Mr. Shaffer’s music is driving, emotional, educational and fun.  Bands In MotionTM unique musical customization program has given us the opportunity to work directly with Mr. Shaffer on the development of our 2010 marching competition show Heroes (Purple Heart & Flight of the Pegasus).  His ability to write for our specific instrumentation needs and grade level have made our band of 65 sound awesome and allowed our program to remain competitive without breaking our budget.  Working directly with the composer to arrange our program has been a tremendous experience for our staff and students.
