Eric Ward
Eric Ward earned his B.U.S. from Morehead State University and his M.S. in Education from Troy University. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Music at Troy University where he teaches multiple classes in the Music Industry Program including Advanced Music Technology, Audio Principles I and II and Studio Production Techniques. In addition to his MUI responsibilities, Eric also heads up the Studio Rhythm Section, The Jazz II Big Band and teaches private percussion. Eric has been a working musician for well over fifteen years. His work as a percussionist, arranger, consultant, clinician, guest artist and teacher have allowed him to work with numerous groups, artists, and schools around the country including: Bob Becker, Jim Bell, “The Christopher Hodges Band,” “The Living Jazz Duo/Trio,” “True Jazz,” The “EA” Quintet, Shelia Jackson, Ray Smith, Jesse Wells, Glen Valez,, Gifford Howarth, The Morehead Guild Theater, The Central Ohio Brass Band, The Brass Band of Columbus, Morehead State University, Ohio University, Miami University, The “Sound of the South” marching band, The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps, The Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps and the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Eric has arranged marching percussion music for numerous high schools around the country and is the current percussion arranger for the Outback Bowl.
